Sweet Honey Rolls with Almond Flour

Quick and delicious, those are the magic words that draw our attention whenever we’re searching for new recipes. Because, seriously, how often do you find a recipe for something tasty, that doesn’t require an hour of preparation and an hour of washing up afterwards?

Viktorija convinced us that quick and delicious exists. It’s not a myth.

You'll need:

400 g                     all-purpose flour
100 g                     Letifico almond flour
1                             fresh yeast
2,5 dcl                   milk
1 tsp.                     sugar    
2 tsp.                     stevia
½ tsp.                   salt
1                             egg
55 g                       butter
Letifico Honey Creme with Cocoa

When you get everything, then:

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk, mix in a teaspoon of sugar, and leave to rise.

Don’t forget to preheat your oven to 180°C! You’ll need it later.

Meanwhile, melt the butter and combine it in a large bowl with the rest of the ingredients (all-purpose flour, almond flour, salt, egg). Finally, add the yeast mixture, form a soft dough and leave in a warm place to rise for about 30 minutes.

After half and hour, roll out the dough, spread the honey creme on the dough and roll it into a log.

Leave 2 cm on each end of the rolled dough without the honey creme, so that the rolls don’t fall apart, and then cut them into 2-3 cm wide slices. Place the slices onto a baking tray covered with baking paper, put them into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. And you’re done!

If you like your snacks to be a bit sweeter and juicier, then boil 2 dcl of milk, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and a teaspoon of stevia, and pour it over the rolls when they’re half way done.
